Problem

Typically, at the beginning of a new game, we have people standing in line waiting for their orders or people interrupting their play to get drinks for their group. To tackle this, we hired more employees, but manual order handling still resulted in lost revenue and delays. This negatively impacted our guests’ experience and sometimes discouraged them from visiting the bar, especially when the queue was long. That was a reason why we looked for a digital solution.

We are part of the same City Bowling group, so when we heard they may have found a solution to our problems in Odense, we couldn’t be happier to try a digital solution. We know the people from our sister company, and they had a successful trial, so we basically skipped the test run and directly implemented the solution in our Center.

Result

The elderly people took some time to get used to digitally ordering, but it was a huge help for our employees during busy hours! Most importantly, our returning customers quickly adapted to it, and it gave us more breathing space during peak hours.
